the Shadow walker's legacy

synopsis

It begins with a flicker.

A shadow where none should be. Goblins outside his home. A hidden world that Zane was never supposed to see.

Then his father’s past comes looking for him.

Pulled into a world of monsters, ancient magic, and secrets buried beneath ordinary life, Zane discovers that the creatures from humanity’s oldest stories were never myths. They were simply hidden.

Survival means training among beings he was taught could not exist, where healing hurts, magic marks, and every lesson brings him closer to the truth about what his father left behind.

But something has begun moving in the dark.

Something knows who Zane is.

And whatever is waking has been waiting a very long time.

Not chosen. Made.

The Shadow Walker’s Legacy is an adult dark fantasy blending hidden worlds, ancient monsters, psychological horror, and the brutal cost of inheriting a legacy you never asked for.

You can purchase the complete novel, ebook and/or paperback, on Amazon.

Some of my favorite excerpts from the book

The girl’s list was long—a century of songcraft, healing, noble ancestry. The elder circled her, gaze colder than hunger, more precise than desire.

“Your life has been without stain,” he said. “Your bloodline is unbroken. You are flawless.”

Hope flickered—and died.

“But we have no shortage of flawless daughters. Beauty is abundant. Grace is plentiful. You are not essential.”

Unfit.

The word hung in the air like a blade that never stopped falling

Fluorescents hummed. Pencil dust. Floor wax. A teacher’s voice like static.

The desk beside mine was empty—then it wasn’t.

He turned, and my breath snagged.

Me. Not a mirror, but a bad translation. My smile stretched too wide. My eyes yellowed, pupils cracked like glass.

“All this power is yours,” he said in my voice, hollowed. “Why pretend you’re anything but me?”

“He left me. He left my mother,” I shouted. The sword burned white-hot in my grip, heat threading through my bones.

Metal bent and split, groaning like something alive. It unfurled into a shield, claws catching the light like talons.

Mary’s lips parted, not in fear but in hunger. “There it is,” she whispered. “Not one. Not two. One becoming two.”
